Does it cost money
to use Design Communication? Is it true that Design Communication is going to
charge to use the site?
Design
Communication is a free site and will never require that you pay to continue
using the site.
How do I sign up for
Design Communication?
If
you don't have a Design Communication account, you can sign up for one in a few
steps:
1.
Go
to www.designcommunication.org.
2.
Click
on the Join Now option, Signup if you don’t have an account and
fill out your basic information like name, email, password, birthday and gender etc.
3.
You
can also Login either with your Facebook account or Google account.
Once
you sign up, you'll need to confirm your email address or phone number. We'll
send you either an email or a text message to help you confirm your account.
How do I Sign Into
my Design Communication account?
To Sign
Into your Design Communication account:
1.
Make
sure no one else is logged into Design Communication on your computer
To
log someone else out, click the Sign
out at the top right My Account
option on your Design Communication homepage and select Sign Out
2.
Go
to www.designcommunication.org and enter one of the following:
Email
address: You
can Sign In with the email address that is currently listed on your Design
Communication account
3.
Enter
your password
4.
Click Log
In
If you can't log into Design Communication and
need to reset your password:
1.
Go
to the Design Communication login screen at www.designcommunication.org
2.
At the
bottom of Log In option, click Forgot your password?
3.
Type
the email address associated with your account, then clicks Recover Password.
4.
You’ll
get a mail to recover your password. Follow that link and simply change your password
with a new one.
How do I add a profile
picture or change the current profile picture?
1. Go to your profile and hover over your profile
picture.
2. Click Edit
Profile Pic. ( the pencil icon )
3. Select a photo from your browser and open it.
How do I add or change my cover photo?
A
cover photo is the larger photo at the top of your profile, above your profile
picture.
To add or change your cover photo:
1.
Go
to your profile
2.
Hover
over your current cover photo and click Change Cover Photo
3.
Select
a photo from your browser and open it.
4.
Once
you choose a photo, you can reposition it by clicking the image and dragging it
up or down
5.
Click Save
How do I upload Folio?
To upload
photos and your work on Folio of Design Communication:
1.
Click Add
Folio.
2.
Upload
a cover photo for that particular folio simply by clicking Upload Cover Image, browse a photo and
open it.
3.
Give
an appropriate folio name in Folio Name text box.
4.
Select
the one/multiple category(s) of your folio from the list given.
5.
Now
add your work to your folio.
a. Insert
Image: upload photo(s) from your
computer
b. Add
text: you can also add text to
that particular folio in the text box.

6.
Save the Folio.
7.
After
saving your folio you can also edit it. Hover over your folio and click Edit
profile and make the changes you
want.
How do I upload Video
in my Folio?
1.
Click Embed media on the bottom of your Folio.
2.
Go
to Youtube and open video you'd like to embed.
3.
Click
the Share link.
4.
Click
the Embed link.
5. Copy the embed code that appears in the menu below.
6. Paste the code into your website or blog.
